ZON Retail Environments – formerly known as Presentations Plus, Inc. – designs and builds custom retail environments for brands like Kenneth Cole, Lacoste, Titleist, Hy-Vee, and Moroccanoil.

 

Challenge

Reimagine, redesign, and reapply an entire brand in UNDER 10 WEEKS!

For years, PPI worked behind the scenes, helping retail design agencies produce everything from soft graphics to custom fixtures. They wanted to change that by starting to do more direct work with brands and retailers. And they wanted to do it in time for a major industry trade show.

 

Process

PPI owned a trademark for a variation of the word ZON, which they had used for a line of custom extrusions. As part of the strategic analysis and creative discovery process, we learned that the word 'zon' means 'sun' in Dutch. And the sun is a great symbol for a company whose job is to 'bring life to retail environments.' As a result, this became the central concept of the brand identity and messaging.

 

Solution

The new identity was applied to a variety of sales and marketing materials, across digital and analog channels.

 
 
 

Results

We hit our goal of rebranding and representing the new identity in record time, and GlobalShop 2015 was a resounding success. The booth was nominated for a best-in-show award and helped the sales team land several large accounts. Plus, the free sunglasses where a big hit with visitors!
